Type Chinese characters by shape — no pinyin needed
For learners who don't know the pronunciation yet, or any product without a pinyin keyboard: pick a stroke, narrow down by component and position, get the character. The widget on the right is calling the same public API your platform can call — this isn't a mockup.
Enter your API key (or start a free trial), then tap a stroke.
How it works
How it works
Strokes → components (including variant forms like 阝/亻/氵/扌/刂) → where that component sits in the character → candidate characters. Ported from the same algorithm and data as our existing "The Visual Key" product — not a new design.
Known limitations
About 1,495 of the 1,649 characters have positions derived from a coarse structure table (left/right/top/bottom/enclosing), not hand-verified; the other 745 are more precise. The API reports this in every response under known_limitations — see GET /v1/visual-input.
Call it directly
Same Bearer-key auth as the structural decomposition API, with an independent quota — it won't eat into your decompose usage.
